This report on gender equity and inclusion of children with disabilities is part of the Renforcement de la Lecture Initiale pour Tous (RELIT) program made possible by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). This situation analysis of gender equity and inclusion will inform program activities through a better understanding of the differentiated needs of girls and boys, including those of children with disabilities. Taking these differences into account is essential to creating learning opportunities that equalize every learner's chance of success. We are specifically interested in the consideration of GEE and ESH inclusion in institutional and community interventions.
